Resident's Panel
What is a Residents’ Panel?
A Residents’ Panel is a group of residents who are willing to be consulted by Midsummer on a variety of issues affecting them. The information gathered from the Panel will directly influence decision-making at Midsummer. Currently we have a Tenants’ Panel that meet every 6-8 weeks, and a virtual Leaseholders’ Panel, who we contact via e-mail.
Is there any payment for being a member of the Panel?
- On a monthly basis there will be a draw for a £10 voucher which all members of the panel will be entered into
- Invitation to attend relevant housing conferences which will be paid for by Midsummer
- Free relevant training on housing issues
- All expenses paid for those members who wish to become mystery shoppers
Who cannot be a member of the Panel?
All residents are eligible to join the Panel. The only exceptions are residents against whom a Court Order has been obtained for threatening behaviour or harassment against staff or other residents.
