Community Development Fund

One of our key targets at Midsummer is to provide homes and services that contribute to successful communities. To do this we must work closely with our residents as well as local agencies and groups.

To support this approach Midsummer has a Community Development Fund to be used to support and promote activities that enhance the communities where our residents live.

The Fund is used to provide donations that:

  • Support activities that encourage Midsummer resident involvement in either the management of their homes or in projects that make a positive contribution to the communities in which they live.
  • Promote and support external projects, groups or agencies that can demonstrate outcomes that achieve a positive benefit to Midsummer residents or the communities in which they live

Examples suitable for funding include:

  • New residents’ associations
  • Crime and safety initiatives and projects which seek to prevent anti-social behaviour
  • Play schemes
  • Youth projects
  • Elderly persons’ clubs
  • Education and training projects

Donations will normally be made to properly constituted groups but in special circumstances may be available for individuals.
