Joint Transfer List

Guinness Midsummer tenants living in Milton Keynes can apply to join Milton Keynes Council's housing waiting list. As the Council has considerably more rental housing than Guinness Midsummer this option may greatly increase your chances of obtaining a transfer, particularly if you are wishing to move to a four bedroom house or to parts of the city where Guinness Midsummer has little or no housing. The Council may nominate applications to other housing associations in the local area.

You do not need to be registered on Guinness Midsummer's transfer list to apply. Simply approach Milton Keynes Council directly at one of their Neighbourhood Services Area Offices. If they think they may be able to help you the Council will write to us asking if we will accept a nomination from them in return. Before giving our consent a check will be made that your account is not in arrears and a home visit will be made to check the condition of your home.

Should an offer of accommodation be made you will be contacted directly by the Council. If you wish to accept the offer please let us know so that preparations can be made to end your tenancy.
